France: Auvergne Regional Geographic Information Centre updates SDI portal

CRAIG FranceAfter 6 months of hard work, the Auvergne Regional Geographic Information Centre (CRAIG) is pleased to deploy a major update to the geospatial portal component of its spatial data infrastructure. The portal is a collaborative information platform based on geOrchestra which aims to be a tool for public actors of the Auvergne region in their development projects by giving them access to a wealth of geographic data.

Belgium: Flemish Agency for Information webinar on how to ensure a highly reliable SDI

Sweden: Success of National Land Survey's free digital maps

On July 1, 2015, the National Land Survey (Lantmäteriet) took its first step towards the open release of maps and geographical information. This started with free access to the digital overview map and a simplified elevation model. The demand for this information exceeded expectations and usage has increased substantially during the rest of the year.
