Serbia: Draft NSDI law reviewed during IMPULS project workshop

GeoSerbiaThe President of the Council of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) and Director of the Republic Geodetic Authority (RGA), Borko Drašković, opened a national workshop on 23 March 2016 which was organized as part of Work Package 2 of the IMPULS project concerning "data exchange policy and regulation." Drašković emphasized the importance of both the "open data" initiative for the development of NSDI in Serbia and the connection to other SDI efforts at the European level.

Germany: GDI-DE updates documents on architectural concept & action plan for country's SDI

Germany GDI DE logoTo allow the smooth interaction of the components of the German Spatial Data Infrastructure (GDI-DE), organizational and technical frameworks are necessary, which are collectively referred to as architectural concept of the GDI-DE. The concept includes several documents, including with basic technical and programmatic requirements. Two of these basic documents were updated by decision of the Steering Committee GDI-DE for 01/02/2016.
