Balkan region: IMPULS project round-table on SDI

IMPULS banja luka3A round table was held on 29-31 March 2016 in Banja Luka on the topic of "National Spatial Data Infrastructure in the Balkan region, experiences and lessons lessons." The round-table was organized by the IMPULS project and the Republic Administration for Geodetic and Legal Property and Affairs of Republika Srpska. The event was attended by representatives of cadastral agencies of the Balkan region and representatives of the NSDI Council in Republika Srpska.

Serbia: Draft NSDI law reviewed during IMPULS project workshop

GeoSerbiaThe President of the Council of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) and Director of the Republic Geodetic Authority (RGA), Borko Drašković, opened a national workshop on 23 March 2016 which was organized as part of Work Package 2 of the IMPULS project concerning "data exchange policy and regulation." Drašković emphasized the importance of both the "open data" initiative for the development of NSDI in Serbia and the connection to other SDI efforts at the European level.

EuroSDR Award 2016 for best PhD thesis related to Geoinformation Science
