The purpose of the 10th Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure is to share experiences between countries of the region in the field of cadastre and spatial data infrastructure. This will aid in the establishment of a functioning cadastre that should support land ownership, the development of the real estate market, and increase the number of real estate transactions, as well as improve urban planning, infrastructure development, and the environment in order enable sustainable development of society as a whole.

The conference is being hosted by the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre of the Republic of Macedonia, 8-9 June 2017, in Skopje, Macedonia

European Broadband Mapping project presented at the ITU Regional Development Forum in Vilnius

The European Broadband Mapping project will be presented at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Regional Development Forum in Vilnius on 26 April. The mapping project, launched by the European Commission, will result in an interactive online mapping application that will aggregate and benchmark measurements of fixed and mobile broadband connectivity. All Member States of the EU and EEA will be covered. The database and online application will go live in late 2017.
