Myanmar: NSDI project advancing geospatial data access in government ministries and private sector

Myanmar SDI May2016 meetingA meeting on the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) project that is jointly implemented by the Center of the International Cooperation for Computerization (CICC) and organized by the Ministry of Education of Myanmar and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan was held on May 20th at the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw. Union Minister for Education Dr. Myo Thein Gyi said that NSDI initiative will include a platform that will enable smooth access to the data necessary of projects that will be implemented by the respective ministries.
